Bronzeville’s 2024 Juneteenth Celebration: We are thrilled to extend an invitation to you to attend the 4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration, "Unity Rising: Celebrating Freedom, Heritage, and Community Empowerment"
Saturday June 15, 2024 from 11 am to 5 pm.
It promises to be an unforgettably positive experience hosted by Absolutely Anything Essential, The Black Star Project, State Representative Kam Buckner, FAM Entertainment Theater Company and sponsored by: My Block My Hood My City.

This year, our village themed community event will highlight youth and adult creative artists as well as local small businesses with a lot of fun and educational activities. We will feature an array of performances, including live music, dance, spoken word, and more, showcasing the talent and diversity of our community.
With over 400 attendees expected to check out Local historians, keynote speakers and performing artists from the Chicagoland area, who willl come together to showcase their depictions, share stories, educate residents and entertain attendees.
Through this event, we aim to celebrate the significance of emancipation for African Americans and the enduring pursuit of freedom for all Americans, all while embracing our unique village-inspired lens.
Your involvement as a community an attendee would greatly enhance the impact and reach of this celebration. We believe that your support and participation will not only honor the legacy of Juneteenth but also contribute to the ongoing empowerment and upliftment of our community.

(We will once again, host the outside event adoring the front east side business corridor starting at 3525 and South King Drive as well as in the back parking lot of the historic Supreme Life Building).
